it's everything the NDP is, big hoards of ppl, sitting aimlessly in the hot sun waiting for the good stuff to happen, new NDP songs that gets tons of airplay now but will be forgotten after august 10, and mostly, lots of fun.
granted, it was a rehearsal so there were lots to iron out, we didn't get running commentary so didn't know the story behind each mass display, but i enjoyed myself alot. the new location made it all the more interesting, and there's always the nationalistic pride when you see your national flag flying in the central business district.
